ELV Copper Cable Rate Database

Structured cabling, CCTV, intercom, access control, audio/video, BMS and related ELV copper cables. Rates are indicative UAE market / engineering reference values and remain linked to the active copper reference where applicable.

Quick filter: Tick Typical UAE Buildings Only to reduce the dropdown menus to the cable families most commonly used for normal building ELV works, while retaining the full database when unchecked.
Conductor requirement: Use solid / stranded bare copper conductors only. CCA, CCS or aluminium conductors are excluded from the preferred range. The tool uses a 98-100% copper quality target as a project requirement, but actual copper purity shall be confirmed from manufacturer datasheets, test certificates and approved submittals rather than assumed from the brand name alone.
When checked, dropdowns and results show only the most commonly used building cables.

Telecom / FTTH DistributionOS22 / 4 / 6 / 12 / 24 CoreFTTH, telecom rooms, ONU / ODF distributionFinal core count shall follow Etisalat by e& / du approved design and project telecom requirements.
Typical UAE market availability includes OS2, OM2, OM3 and OM4 in core counts from small 2-core FTTH cables through 48-core and higher backbone cables. For new building structured-cabling backbones, this tool emphasizes OS2 and OM4, with 6C, 12C, 24C and 48C as practical design selections. Final fiber type and core count shall follow the approved network architecture, switch uplink requirement, redundancy philosophy and authority/client specification.
RG copper-content note: Manufacturer catalogues normally specify the conductor materials (for example Cu/Cu, Cu/Al/Al or CCS/Al), not an overall cable copper percentage by mass. Therefore the tool does not falsely label mixed-metal RG cables as exactly “50% copper.” For project selection, use two practical classes: Full-copper conductor construction and Mixed / economy construction. If the project specification requires a numerical copper percentage, obtain a manufacturer declaration or material-composition certificate for the exact model.
Retail prices can vary significantly by exact model, CPR/LSZH classification, shielding, country of origin and distributor. Use this tab for budget comparison only, then replace rates with approved supplier quotations when available.

Automatic Supports & Accessories Included

Standard SupportsTrapeze / threaded rod, wall brackets or angle supports calculated from the selected duty and spacing.
JointingJoint plates / splice connectors automatically allowed at standard 3 m sections.
Standard AccessoriesBends, tees, reducers, end caps and fixing hardware included as an engineering percentage allowance.
Earthing / BondingBonding jumpers and continuity accessories included for metallic containment.
Rate status: Steel-linked containment prices are engineering estimates based on steel reference, fabrication/galvanizing factor and accessory allowances. Use supplier quotations for final procurement.
Steel reference basis: Illustrative raw-steel inputs are entered in USD per metric tonne. This file converts the manually entered benchmark to AED/t using the same USD/AED FX and applies a GI/fabrication conversion factor for containment. Final procurement rates shall be checked against supplier quotations.

Manual Copper Copper Reference - Current & Historical

Enter the copper price manually here. Enter Copper in USD/tonne; the file automatically converts it to AED/tonne using the FX rate already used by the calculator. The historical entry is saved against the selected date and is then used automatically for Contract / As-Built date calculations.

Calculation logic: Current Copper manually entered here updates the current cable and busbar rate engine. Historical Copper saved against a date overrides the built-in historical benchmark for that exact date. If no manual historical value exists for a selected date, the existing built-in historical rate curve remains in use.
