Wi-Fi Heat Map Studio
Bring in a plan, set its scale and explore the coverage. Move an AP and see the prediction change.
Start with the sample or import a floor plan. Drawing files stay in your browser.
Use the plan tools on the left. Blue square = rack. White circles = access points.

How the prediction is calculated
RSSI = EIRP − PL₀ − 10n₁ log₁₀(min(d, dᵦ)) − 10n₂ log₁₀(max(d/dᵦ, 1)) − clutter − wall losses.
PL₀ = 20 log₁₀(4πf/c), referenced to 1 m. Distance includes mounting height to a 1.5 m receiver and is limited to at least 1 m. Wall losses apply once per intersected line, with band factors of 0.8 / 1.0 / 1.12 for 2.4 / 5 / 6 GHz. Same-channel SINR sums the other AP powers and a noise floor of −90 dBm at 2.4 GHz or −92 dBm at 5 / 6 GHz.
Design scope: This browser edition supports manual walls, omnidirectional APs and predictive planning. It does not automatically extract rooms, optimise directional antennas, or perform a measured RF survey. The original Python edition provides the broader drawing analysis and proposal workbook workflow.
Review wall construction, furniture, user capacity, roaming, mounting, cable routes and radio limits before issuing a design. Coverage percentage is based on sampled cells, not a site measurement.
