Electrical Licensing Exam Lab

UAE authority approval, Australian licensing, NZ EWRB registration and CPEng readiness

What is inside the Electrical Licensing Exam Lab

Practice for the written tests engineers sit to become authority-approved or licensed. Each paper is timed, uses four options per question with single and multiple correct answers, and gives an automatic result with your score, percentage, PASS or FAIL status and a topic breakdown.

UAE authority approval

DEWA Regulations for Electrical Installations 2017, SEWA Rules and Regulations 2019, Abu Dhabi Electricity Wiring Regulations (DoE, ADDC, AADC) and EtihadWE (formerly FEWA) for Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, plus BS 7671 and IEC principles.

Australian electrical licensing

AS/NZS 3000:2018 Wiring Rules, AS/NZS 3008 cable selection, MEN earthing, RCD rules, AS/NZS 4777 and 5033 solar, WHS live-work rules and state certification such as the NSW CCEW and Victorian LEA.

New Zealand EWRB registration

Electricity (Safety) Regulations 2010, prescribed electrical work risk categories, Certificates of Compliance, Electrical Safety Certificates, Records of Inspection, NZECP 34 and AS/NZS 3000 for New Zealand.

CPEng readiness

Engineering New Zealand CPEng (12 competence elements, CPEng Rules 2025, six-yearly reassessment) and Engineers Australia CPEng (Stage 2 standard, 16 elements, NER, RPEQ), plus codes of ethics.

Unlimited calculation drills

Voltage drop and maximum cable length against each authority's limit, earth fault loop impedance, RCD and TT electrode limits, derating, transformer full load and fault current, power factor correction, adiabatic sizing, Wenner soil resistivity and ring continuity, with fresh numbers and a worked solution every time.

Interactive and 3D practice

Tap-the-diagram questions, virtual insulation, loop, RCD and earth tester readings, ordering and matching tasks, a 3D bathroom zones lab, a 3D switchboard defect inspection and an animated fault current path simulator for TT, TN-S and MEN systems.

Daily challenge and progress

Ten new questions every day with a streak counter, a colour-coded mastery map for every topic, saved mistakes that come back until you get them right, and an open-book reference panel for EWRB-style papers.

Results and review

Time spent per question, a shareable result card, a marked OMR-style answer sheet, the correct answer and explanation with the regulation clause for every question, practice of your own mistakes and a saved history of attempts.
